Roof Collapse on an Industrial Property

Los Angeles, CA – The rainstorm that Southern California residential and commercial properties experienced in early January caused millions of dollars in property damage. Among hundreds of emergencies that were called into Har-Bro during the rainstorm, emergency and restoration services were provided for a large industrial property that suffered a roof collapse.

One of Har-Bro’s key clients called in the emergency at 4am on a Wednesday, and after scoping the damage; Har-Bro sent a crew of 26 to stabilize the property. The tilt up property had approximately 2500 square feet of damaged area out of their 400,000 plus square foot building.

Har-Bro provided the removal of the fallen debris from 30 feet above to allow shoring which was completed on the same day of the collapse. Even though it was a holiday weekend, the roof structure was fully repaired within a few days.

Upon receiving needed permits and approvals, Har-Bro was asked to complete the interior repairs including fire sprinkler system, framing, electrical, drywall, cabinetry, flooring, and storefront.
