Pizza Kitchen Water Loss – Har-Bro Provides Emergency Dry Down
Irvine, CA – An 8 inch water line burst outside a planter of a pizza kitchen that sprayed up and over the roof of the building and caused major water damage. The water and mud also came in through the windows, top plate of the walls and through the air ducts of the restaurant.
The pipe rupture caused 3 inches of water and mud throughout the restaurant. Har-Bro responded to the loss and proceeded to extract the water and mud immediately along with removing affected walls. Slate tiles and walls had to be cut up to 2 feet so that the inside wall cavities could be cleaned. The emergency dry down and clean up was completed in less than five days. A hygienist was also brought in to oversee the work performed and to provide air testing.
